Another fine vintage novelty soap from Avon! The Male Chauvinist Pig (MCP) Soap was part of the Deep Woods Collection. This amber colored pig shaped soap with an attitude stands about 4 3/4" tall and came boxed in a paperboard box with graphics resembling a cargo container. The box ironically stated; "Special Cargo - Handle With Care."
According to Ask.com; "A male chauvinist pig (MCP) was a term used in the 1960s among some feminists for some men, usually men with some power (such as an employer or professor), who believed that men were superior and expressed that opinion freely in word and action." It make you wonder how many were given out as gifts....
